The Institute of Tourism Studies has been invited for the second consecutive year to participate in the Gran Trofeo D’Oro organized by the Brescia Province in partnership with ALMA - Alta Scuola di Cucina Italiana. The ITS team will be made up of thee student Chefs and two food and beverage servers under the guidance of Lecturers Andrew Farrugia and Aaron Rizzo. The competition will be held at the Fiera dei Montechiari between the 27th February and the 2nd of March. Thirty teams will participate including six international teams including the Institute of Tourism Studies. Mr. Farrugia and Mr. Rizzo have participated in a preparatory visit held in Brescia which included visits to various wineries, cheese factories, olive oil producers and a number of seminars.
