ITS successfully participated in the Festa Tac-Citru (Citrus Festival) which was organised on Sunday 31 January 2010 at San Anton Gardens, Attard. ITS students and staff produced a risotto with pork and oranges as well as a carrot soup with oranges which were sold to the general public. Chef Ivan Zammit held demonstrations on the production of marmalade utilizing Seville oranges. These demonstrations were very well attended. Proceeds were donated to Malta Community Chest Fund in aid of Haiti earthquake victims. The event turned out to be a great success with thousands of people visiting San Anton Gardens on a sunny January day. One of the visitors was HE the President of Malta Dr George Abela.
