The sum of 18010.65 euro collected by ITS on Saturday 19th December were passed on to L-Istrina in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund on Saturday 26th December during the live telethon. Around 3000 hours of voluntary work were donated by ITS students, lecturers and staff as well as by five inmates of the Young Offenders Unit Rehabilitation Scheme of Corradino when 1100 feet of Christmas Logs as well as 12,000 mince pies were produced and packed and later sold in aid of this event. Other items were on sale such as stuffed capon with mince meat, imbuljuta, roasted chestnuts,pancakes with chocolate sauce, speciality coffees, mulled wine etc. A large number of entities/companies assisted ITS by providing commodities free of charge or at discounted prices. Others offered services in connection with the organization of this event.
