Over 1,000 feet of Christmas Logs and around 12,000 mince pies were all gone by Saturday evening, sold to the hundreds of people who thronged Valletta and visited the Presidents's Palace. From 10am till 10pm ITS students and staff manned the kiosks that sold the logs, mince pies and Christmas cakes whose proceeds will all go to the Community Chest Fund. Other food and beverages were also served. For the last two months over 200 students and staff, including members of the Young Offenders Unit Rehabilitation Scheme at the Corradino Correctional Facility, under the supervision of ITS lectures, produced the logs and mince pies. President Abela visited ITS on Wednesday 16th December and was ecstatic to see the work done by ITS. Well done to all those who contributed to this success!
