SSI 08 - FOOD NUTRITION AND DIET

Module Overview

The aim of the module is to introduce students to the nature and physiology of all the known nutrients necessary for the normal functions of the body. The students will also learn about the storage, preparation, cooking and processing of these nutrients.

In this module students will learn how to analyse food values, read labels and manage weight while also be capable of creating a healthy eating plan to special populations.
