Module Overview

The aim of the module is to provide the student with an understanding and mastering of skills related to personal and career development. This is done in an atmopshere which also facilitates and encourages personal growth. The module promotes personal and social development and is also concerned with character building and formation.

In this module students will learn how to become more aware of their thoughts and feelings and develop a wide range of personal and social skills. They will have the opportunity to share experiences and develop the ability to negotiate, discuss, gather information and work co-operatively. They will be encouraged to discover personal strengths, limitations, inclinations, values and potentials.
