Module Overview

The aim of the module is to This help students comprehend and understand the need for and the importance of health & safety in the hospitality and catering industry.

In this module students will learn how to identify the differences between a hazard and a risk, recognize possible causes of fire and act accordingly, provide first aid requirements in accordance with safety legislation, recognize a poor/unsafe situation with regards to electricity, and set up a safe computer working station.
