FBI 13 - BEVERAGE SERVICE INTERMEDIATE THEORY

Module Overview

The aim of the module is to reinforce and build on the theories acquired in FBF 13 Beverage Service Basic Theory module. This module is intended to expand the students' knowledge in the field of beverage service and offer a theoretical insight at intermediate level focusing on spirits knowledge.

In this module students will also learn how to prepare and present a range of mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) and cocktails, including what it takes to create and cost cocktails. Students will also be made aware of the effect of alcohol on customers and learn about the legislation regarding the consumption and sale of alcohol.

Prerequisites - Pass in FBF 13 Beverage Service Basic Theory.
