FBF 12 - FOOD SERVICE BASIC PRACTICAL

Module Overview

The aim of the module is to give students the opportunity to put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired in the Food Service Basic Theory module.

In this module students will learn how to provide a quality food service in the Food and Beverage sector of the hospitality industry. Students will also have opportunities to learn how to use appropriate personal, social, and practical skills in combination with professional equipment within a controlled restaurant environment thus enabling the students to operate as a front line worker in a typical service outlet. Students completing this module can sit for the City & Guilds Food & Beverage Service Principles 1 Intermediate Certificate Examination.
